Amazonia Forever is an IDB initiative that seeks to provide greater transparency around the use of donated funds for the conservation and sustainable development of the Amazon region. Its main goal is to give visibility to donors, governments, and organizations about how, where, and on what financial resources are being used—especially in historically underserved areas.

Product Strategy

We designed a data-driven platform focused on visualization, with interactive maps, dynamic charts, and project cards by country, region, or thematic area (biodiversity, Indigenous communities, sustainable development, etc.).
The experience was designed to facilitate exploration and help users understand the real impact of their contributions, while also identifying geographic and thematic gaps.

Results

The first version of the platform was successfully launched and is currently in use.
The project has entered a second phase, focused on expanding data sources, integrating new areas of the Amazon, and optimizing the experience for mobile users. This phase also includes the addition of a dashboard and user registration functionality.
